So, if you haven't heard, I opened a restaurant. Crazy, right?
It's called 6 and it's in Carroll Gardens Brooklyn, the neighborhood where I live and love. It's a warm, inviting, wonderful space. And I couldn't be more thrilled with how it all turned out. It's been in my head for a while and to see it come to life is kinda of surreal actually. It's been the most exciting and rewarding thing I've ever done. It's also been the most challenging and anxiety inducing venture of my life, too.
Here's the website if you want to check it out: 6 Restaurant
It gets its name from our six-seat tasting table (which is fabulous). We also have 28 additional seats for a la carte dining. The menu is New American — though we take a lot of influence from European cuisine as well as South America. The food is really, really good. You should come in and check it out.
Also I want to say thanks to all the folks who've supported me, encouraged me, let me vent, taught me, mentored me, guided me, pushed me. I couldn't have done it without you. And tops on that list is my amazing, loving wife. Sos la mejor mi vida, gracias por todo.
