So American by Portugal. The Man (via exfm)
Yeah, it’s cover Friday, but I have to buck that trend and post another Portugal. The Man track. The new album is so, so good. This track though is currently at the tippy top for me. Something about how it sounds like a song from 1973 and a song from 2011 at the same time. It’s got pace, harmony, catchiness, and originality. Nothing else out there sounds like this and I love that. It’s got mixes and influences from the past for sure, but it’s all Portugal. The Man. Good, good stuff. Do not sleep on this band.
