A reblog on Tumblr is a big deal. 

Tumblr is everything Bijan said. The community is amazing. I’ve made real friends through Tumblr. The reblog, however, was the stroke of genius. It is what catapulted the platform. It allowed people who didn’t know “how” to blog, to blog. Then eventually they began expressing themselves. It’s that intermingling of curation and one’s own thoughts and creativity that makes Tumblr so incredible.
