10-4
Paraguay crushed me on her way to first one to 10 wins in Mexe Mexe. She took the title easily with her impressive 71.42 winning percentage.
She also wasted no time picking where she’ll be treated - Yasuda. The girl is not only a winner she’s got excellent taste.

Staycation: Day 3
Day 3 was really all about eating. And, oh yeah, a bad movie. We were going to have lunch at Bar Boulud and partake in some lovely Croque Madames and frites, but alas it seemed a lot of folks on the UWS had the same idea. The hour wait prompted us to try our luck around the corner at The Atlantic Grill. We’ve actually been wanting to go there for a little while so we were fine with that. The...

Staycation: Day 2
Continuing our trend of being tourists in our own city we headed downtown for the day. We started with lunch at ilili, which is one of our favorite mediterranean restaurants in the city. The place is huge and since it was lunch and still shitty out we found we had the place almost to ourselves. ilili is damn good. I’ve never had a bad meal there and the service is always top notch, too. We...

Apple TV 2
I’ve had the original 40GB Apple TV since it came out in March of 2006 and have always loved it. It’s been a great little bugger that has served me well. Four years and not a single problem (I probably just jinxed myself). I even hacked it to run Boxee and the like (though Boxee absolutely blows on it, but that’s not Boxee’s fault it’s the old Apple TV hardware). I...

Staycation: Night 1
Dinner at Barbuto. Drinks at the Spotted Pig. For some insane reason and despite freezing gusts of wind we trekked down to Barbuto last night on West 12th and Washington. I’ve been wanting to go for a while and the last few times we tried plans just fell through or the wait was two hours (no thanks). Mercifully, the 1 train was running pretty much on schedule so it wasn’t difficult to...

Thank God For The King's Speech.
Just when I thought good movies where a thing of the past along comes The King’s Speech. Paraguay and I went to see this last night and I can easily say it’s one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. That’s right – ever. I might even go as far as to say it’s a flawless film. I really can’t think of one single thing I would change. Go see this film. It’s cast...
No Austin & No Barbecue.
We just got word our flight out of JFK to Austin today was cancelled. Stinks. They can’t even put us on another flight until late Thursday and we need to be back by Friday, so no trip for us right now. Kind of bummed, but kind of excited to spend three days holed up with a hot Paraguayan. Now, what on earth are we going to do…. hmmmmmm.
Hey It Snowed.
In case you haven’t heard it snowed here in New York. ;) I was an idiot and forgot my camera (and even my iPhone) on my walk with Reese this morning. All I can say is you’re going to have to trust me that Central Park looked amazing. A foot and a half of white, untouched, powder. Reese was ecstatic.

Oh, fuck them. They’re the ones who are insignificant.
– Paraguay. God, I love that woman. She keeps my head straight.

Need Some Tumblr Love (Reprise).
I figured I’d ask again for folks to take two minutes (seriously it takes just two minutes) to vote for me at the “Blog Your Way Around The World” contest. Or at the very least spread this post to as many people as you can. It would mean a heck of a lot. Here is a link to my entry: http://bit.ly/dqh8ZY
I’ve currently got a paltry 140 votes. But, the good news is I only...
